Elizabeth has exceptional insight when it comes to organizational behavior, regardless of context (personal or professional). I have worked with her for nearly a decade, as the counselor to my wife and me at first, and more recently, as a professional/career advisor. Over the years, Elizabeth has provided practical, impartial insight, redirection and reframing of the situation in a way that lets me see my blindspots and improve.
During my time working with Elizabeth, I have both founded and helped to build multiple companies. She has had a front row seat along the way. When Elizabeth described her intent to transition her work’s focus to management teams and executives, it seemed like a perfect fit for her, though I was skeptical of her ability to help in my own work/career situation.
Some of my skepticism related to what seemed to be exceedingly unique, complex interactions and relationships among multiple actors in my professional life. However, I quickly found her gentle persistence to be highly beneficial.
As a left-brain dominant thinker myself, Elizabeth’s objective assessment tools and her interpretation of them resonated with me immediately. The exercises deepened my understanding of my professional behaviors – how and where adjusting my style would be beneficial and possible.
Elizabeth used our objective work as a springboard to explore areas where right-brained activities were holding me back as an executive/entrepreneur. This led to the most important discovery I made through working with Elizabeth, which had to do with my process of building mutual trust and communicating my expectations as part of a team.
I am very grateful for her help and plan to utilize her as I build my next company.
